My process…
My work explores the intersections of fashion, texture, and light, engaging viewers with bold environmental imagery that transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary. I love taking overlooked elements of everyday life and reimagining them in ways that invite the viewer to see beyond their first impression. Through thoughtful compositions, I aim to create self-contained environments where my subjects can exist independently, while still being part of a larger story. This approach opens a dialogue between the subject and the viewer, encouraging a closer look at the details we often pass by.
I grew up in Jos, Nigeria, surrounded by vibrant colors, music, and textures that shaped my creative vision from an early age. My childhood was filled with racing down unpaved roads, climbing mango trees, and exploring the outdoors, experiences that deeply influenced how I see the world. At 13, I moved to Southern California, where a new landscape and culture continued to fuel my curiosity and passion for exploration—something that remains at the heart of my photography today.
